Weaving Stories in Threads and Colors
The grandparents and volunteers of the association enthusiastically participate in this wonderful workshop, organized periodically at the association's headquarters, as it is an opportunity to create extraordinary things together.
During the first workshop, participants had the opportunity to learn "grandmother's square," a traditional crochet technique used to create coasters for glasses or mugs. This activity brought a lot of joy and satisfaction to the participants, as each of them managed to create a practical and beautiful object, adding a personal touch to it.
The atmosphere was full of positive energy and a desire to learn. In addition to the grandparents, there were also a few curious apprentices eager to discover the secrets of this beautiful art. Together, we spent special moments exchanging ideas and techniques and strengthening the bonds between generations.
Our volunteers played an essential role in the success of this workshop, offering their time and knowledge to guide participants and ensure a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Each participant went home not only with an object they had created with their own hands, but also with precious memories and a sense of belonging to a united and supportive community.
The workshop has been a real success among our seniors, providing a wonderful opportunity to create opportunities for active living among them. Participants eagerly await the organization of new workshops that will bring smiles and joy to their faces.
