Seminar Informativ - Prevenirea violenței împotriva persoanelor vulnerabile

On September 16, 2025, at Octavian Goga County Library in Cluj-Napoca was hosted an informational seminar entitled "Preventing Violence Against Vulnerable Persons," an event dedicated to raising awareness and involving the community in protecting those at risk.

The purpose of the meeting was to highlight the need for information, prevention, and active support for vulnerable people—whether we are talking about children, the elderly, people with disabilities, or victims of domestic abuse.

During the seminar, specialists in the social, psychological, and legal fields provided participants with essential information about forms of violence, the subtle ways in which they can be identified, and the concrete steps that can be taken to intervene safely and responsibly.

Discussions also focused on the role of the community in recognizing signs of abuse and the importance of immediate action when a person is in danger. At the same time, examples of good practices and successful local campaigns were presented, showing how collaboration between institutions, organizations, and citizens can lead to real and lasting change.

Participants were encouraged to share their own experiences, questions, and perspectives in an open and empathetic atmosphere. The atmosphere was warm, respectful, and supportive, and the dialogue highlighted the power of education and empathy in preventing violence.

In conclusion, it was emphasized that each of us has an active role in protecting those around us. Through information, communication, and involvement, we can contribute to building a safer, more attentive, and more dignified community for all.
